Delicious Recipes for Ethical Meats

The food industry is shifting. There’s a growing number of people taking issue with food manufacturing practices. Buzzwords such as ethics and sustainability routinely pepper newscasts and food articles.
While some are jumping on the vegan or vegetarian trains, others are conscientiously looking to curtail
their meat-eating habits by buying less and focusing on better quality. Given that North Americans are among the largest consumers of meat worldwide, it’s a necessary transition.
A great way to create a positive impact on your meat-eating habits is to buy pasture-grazed and organically raised meat and poultry. It’s better for the environment, the animals, and the meat-eater. While buying these products may be more costly on the pocketbook, less is more is the way to go.
We’ve compiled a collection of tasty, organic meat dishes to satisfy all palates. And we’ve included some vegan options and alternatives for our non-meat eaters too. If you find that adjusting to less meat is a challenge, fill up on other protein sources, including whole grains, yogurt, eggs, nuts and seeds, organic soy products, beans and other legumes, and vegetables such as peas, broccoli, potatoes, and mushrooms.
